Once your registration, background check, and SafeSport training have been completed, your umpire exam will be available through Register USA Softball. Until then, you can view the exam and work through its questions by opening the document below.

New umpires and any umpire over the age of 18 who will work JO (youth) contests or are first-time Slow Pitch umpires must purchase a background check each year.

All umpires should complete a SafeSport course each year. Any umpire who will work JO (youth) contests must. Each year the course is a bit different, until you start over at course 1.
